Caribbean wave looks better organized

#1 Postby One Eye » Wed Jul 21, 2004 4:23 am

Our little wave seems to be getting better organized with a nice blow up this morning. If this trend continues we could be seeing our first storm of the season. However on the vapor loop there still appears their is a little bit of shear from the southwest but its not as strong as it has been the last several days. From me being a novist weather observer, you have to be paying attention to a concentrated "blob" blob of t-storms that is no longer being sheared and torn northeastward. Only time will tell.

This system has developed a very well defined MLC(Mid level Cirlation) Around 15.5 north/71.5-72 west. Ir satellite shows this area becoming better defined. I also looked at how on the Ir 2(Which is black in gray this morning shows the inflow from this new area of low pressure. I would say that this is mid level or maybe even should I say a developing LLCC. This system seems to be one of those storms that don't quit like your normal tropical depression 6. This system smells like it wents to go to be! That is all for now. :)
