The question for today is......

#1 Postby cycloneye » Wed Jul 21, 2004 6:56 am

Will the squadron go and fly into 97L today?

My answer is not today but if it organizes more and more west in the western caribbean sea then missions may go tommorow and after tommorow but we will see what happens if a LLC forms later today or tonight because if no LLC with the surface observations is found then they wont fly.

Not today..I think the question would be for tomorrow..if a LLC is verified today or if that massive blob of deep convection holds up..possible but unlikely..When the flight plans come out today..maybe something other than negative will be planned..

Agree with not today for sure and probably not tomorrow. Until this system passes by the SWerly shear it is running into it will probably not develop further. Possibly may need a flight by sometime Friday late or early Saturday.
