The radar yesterday afternoon around south florida was really impressive. That was not your typical rainy season action. :lightning:

It was impressive..definated inflow cause the SW flow and lotsa juice rolling in off the Gulf..I hope the SE got some soakage as well..looked like it on Radar..

I couldn't believe how much rain we did receive yesterday. We are in for a good soaking today and tomorrow, according to local mets.

I saw that this am. I am not looking forward to another 2 rainy days! At least or hopefully we are out of brush fire danger.

We were really socked in yesterday in Naples. Glad i went to the beach on Saturday. The tide was up because of the full moon and a southwest fetch. Nice body surfing weather. )

Supposed to be this way most of the week with the trough hanging around. Well no rain in may and june so we are getting it now. Can someone please tell me why people insisit on putting their hazards on when it is raining hard. It serves absolutely no purpose other than to confuse everyone in the heavy rain. I witnessed some extrmely poor driving on my trip from south beach to fort lauderdale. Seriousely, there are people that struggle on a good day let alone in a downpour.

it seems that alot of people in FL forget how to drive when it starts raining. Common sense seems to go out the window :grr:

I live right next to the NHC and my Rain Gouge received 2.01" of rain, but some parts of Hialeah received 5.28".

They forget how to drive in SUNNY weather also. I never seen so many accidents in my life here on the West Coast. They would be killed if they drove in New York.

Miami NWS has issued a flood watch here in SoFla until 8:00 PM tonight. More soaking on the way...

Common sense and sofla shouldn;t be used in the same sentence. And how about the idiots that let their kids play out in the really deep puddles. WHo knows what si swimming around in those puddles or god forbid if its electrified. IF the kids wanna play in the water send them over to the beach..its free and alot safer. Sun is out now in miami lakes so i am predicitng thigs get going around 1 today.
