I'd also give the Carib system a greater chance, albiet small at the present time. It needs to get by the UL and do so keeping its vort max intact

Watch out in the Gulf! Floydbuster talked about this too last night, the Gulf definitely needs to be watched!

It looks like no tropical depression will form at 5 PM just by looking at the latest images. The shear is too much for the poor little low, if the shear doesn't relax in the next few days, no development will take place either. What is left of TD 2 will continue moving toward the GOM and may become part of the probable low that may form as the cold front stalls and begins to decay. But also we will have to see if the conditions are right for development in the GOM as the low form. Moreover, if a low forms probably it will not be of tropical nature, so more time wil be needed for the low to get down to the surface. Many things will have to come together for tropical development to occur in the GOM. Time will tell, but everyone in the Gulf Coast should keep an eye in the GOM for the time being.

I see the system currently around 9 N and 35 W forming before any other, if you look at the visible shots of the area you can see a small LLC forming in roughly this area.

I don't see development from former TD 2 or 92L because of shear. Now if shear relaxes then it will be another story. But, from all indications that will not be happening anytime soon.
