Bonnie finally managing some convection.

'Fraid not, DT. No one wants Bonnie to dissipate more than I do -- I'm flying Thursday.

I agree with Dixie (what else is new). Charlie obviously has the potential to be the big player but just because Bonnie isn't a monster, it doesn't mean she can't do some serious damage. She's still over open, very warm water and has some room to grow. I think it's a big mistake to downplay her just yet.

Ummmm yea but the point of the thread was to say that Bonnie is back RIGHT NOW, hence the long drawn out spelling of the title, when in fact IR STILL reveals a VERY disorganized and convective lacking system, case closed

Bonnie looks terrible. She is getting beat down. Will she make it to any land or get blown away in the central gulf?

Not closed. Bonnie hasn't sung her finale. And the POINT is, that she IS back --- certainly from where she was 5 or 6 hours ago. Might be a "cold case," but certainly not closed.

When she makes landfall you might be able to drive your car through her in less than 20 minutes.
