You should see at least tropical storm force winds if Charley comes in with winds of 100mph+

I believe the dot color is what kind of wind you could get , which maybe from 34 to 50 ? compare the color on the left side to what wind it will be .I may be wrong on this .

Depends upon the track of Charley and its landfall intensity

1. If Charley is a major hurricane at landfall and it gets bak over the Atlantic and hits you, you'll likely have a full hurricane

2. If Charley is a major but stays inland, moderate TS

3. If scenario 1 occurs, but as a moderate cat 2 at landfall, very strong tropical storm

4. If scenario 2 occurrs, but as a moderate 2 at landfall, weak tropical storm

5. Charley remains east of SC, weak TS conditions at worst as the winds will be concentrated in the east side

If you're on HH, you'd be on the east side of that dot. That means a lot of wind, strong TS at least. that's assuming Charley is sucking some moisture from the Atlantic and throwing it back at you. Now if Charley strays to the east a bit, you'd be on the back side, where everything is better. Makes things uglier for us up in NC, though.

Imagine, I see our official forecast calls for winds only 35-40 mph Saturday. Wanna bet that is bumped up after the 5 p.m.?
