Double Eyewall?

Steve Lyons on TWC said the storm had/has a double eye wall at 10:00 pm EST.

Could be going through some eyewall replacement thus that is why the pressure hasn't been dropping over the last hour or two.

Cat 3 still looks quite likely at landfall....and I don't know about anyone else but Charley is looking A LOT like Opal right now.

Who knows if it will get even stronger... :(

there is a strip of the gulf where storms strengthen rapidly, (think BARRY 2001)

Typical the TWC, they rushed Lyons off for commercial while he was discussing storm surge potential
