Frances was starting a WNW track, but twc just stated that she has taken a jog to the W. Will a WNW track eventually take over?

It's tough to say. The easterly flow around the
ridge to the north is still strong. As AFM pointed
out a few days ago, the edges of a ridge are not
perfect lines, there will be spots that
allow the storms more north or south as they progess.

It's pretty much dead on the NHC track right now. A little closer to WNW than W at this point.

She knows that we can forecast her track. In so she can not become a deadly storm like in the past. So she is trying to throw us off so she can move in when we got are pants down.
