I'm going to bed (provided I can get my racing brain to turn off long enough) and hope that I wake up and find this will be a FL Strait storm (sorry LA/MS/AL!). I've been to the highest relief today to the lowest of despair. I started the day with hopes that it was "going Floyd" on me, then it has a bullseye on my house (NHC)!
I am picturing the tarps that are the only thing keeping some of the rain out of my house being found on Monday in the next county. I am picturing the remaining trees in the greenbelt behind me that didn't get uprooted or snapped in half (about 20 sixty-foot trees) or fall on my house giving up the fight and landing on my house. I am picturing windows blowing out (there's no more plywood in Orlando I believe).
Let's take up a collection and buy some Dyn-O-Mat.

I'm willing to try anything to kill this beast, or at least shew it away. I still can hear the sounds from two weeks ago of those trees all around my house falling to the ground after the storm had passed. I didn't know if the next one would kill my wife and I, and I just wanted it to stop. It went on for thirty minutes after the storm had passed.
I've lived in Florida all my life. I have been through many H'canes. Charley was the worst I remember. Frances will be FAR worse. I pray it stays away!!
Good night all. Stay safe.
