This site is awesome!!!

Hello all! I found this site during Tampa's Charley scare and has been a major source of 'insider' information for me and coworkers. I work at a local radio station and just wanted to let you know this site helped and is helping nto only us but our listeners, when we get serious enough to talk about the weather!! Thanks so much guys!! :D
That being said, I'm getting a bit concerned with Tampa in this storm. If this southern component to the storm continues, the Tampa metro is in for some serious weather. Correct me if I'm wrong! :lol:

Welcome sloar! I'm over in St Pete and we should all be concerned! With the size of Frances any landfall in Florida is going to mean some rough weather here. Stay tuned because the next 36 hours are critical IMHO.
