Could this idicate the upper level visualization of an extension of the High that will, and seems to be, causing Frances to to retain her WNW heading?
Very bad news, I think for South Florida.
I've been lurking on the board, but here's my situation.
My home is in South Dade County, but I am living now with family in Jacksonville (right on the St JOhns River 14 stories up, while I rehab from a severe back injury). The only solution(s) that don't wreak immediate havoc on my life are Fish and threading the needle through Palm Beach County.
I have been sweating bulletts...chewing nails, like many here and across the state. I am still praying for a fish, but I have felt that West Palm beach landfall (I know, I know, what an easy "forcast to say....now) was most likely. And I feel sick to my stomach for praying for that solution.
I apologize to all in West Palm! I am selfish and ashamed.
Terror brings out the worst in me.
Good luck to all in harm's way. Please comment on the dry air...Is it part of the High that is guiding Frances?

BTW, I lost nearly everything I owned, including my way of life, in Andrew in '92. I don't want to start over again.
