Live from Martin County EOC #2
Starting to get near sustained hurricane winds. Heavy tree damage. Most w/o power. The service department of the Volkswagon dealership has collapsed. Partial roof collapse of the Marine Discount Store on Monterey Road. Howard Johnson's starting to lose roof. American Tile Company and Rack Room Shoes have roof collapse. Nearly all wire hanging traffic signals are down in the road. One house destroyed by fire in Hobe Sound. No injuries reported yet in the county. We had the AC go out in the EOC for about 3 hours. Got very hot in here. It's fixed now and we're slowing starting to cool down.

Thank you so much for the update. I am familiar with all of those properties. All are well inland (in relation to the Island) so i fear greatly for all of the structures and souls closer to the water. Please stay safe, and keep us informed as long as you are able. Buildings and property are replacable. Let everyone know that you are all in our thoughts and prayers.
