#1 Postby das8929 » Sat Sep 04, 2004 11:26 am

:D. I am so glad the power is still on! Anyway, I was outside in the high winds in my driveway and was pelted by wind and rain Im guessing at least 85 mph or more! And this storm is still 50 miles out! Is she strengthening?

Not officially ... the eye is so large, you're already getting very close to the eyewall ... on radar, the eye is HUGE ... and when plots are used, it's used for the exact center ... not for the eyewall.

When you have sustained winds of 85 mph or more, your power isn't going to last much longer.
