MWatkins what is your opinion on GOM landfall?

This is the general tropical discussion area. Anyone can take their shot at predicting a storms path.

Mike

What do you think of the current projected models tacking it into MS/AL/LA?

Thanks for your opinion.

If the current track verifies and this does make it over the gulf...then we would expect the hurricane to make it on a track toward the eastern Gulf. However...the stalling we're seeing could decrease that chance and cause the storm to stay over land as it turns back to the north...which of course is good news for you.

However the TPC still believes this will get out over the Gulf...but probably won't strengthen too much as the inner core of the storm will fall apart.

MW, when the stall is over, do you think it will turn West, WNW, or NW?
