I suspect that pressures are falling now that:
1) The eye has moved away from the buoy a bit and the pressure has fallen to 963 mb again.
2) the larger eye has been contracting for several hours now
3) outflow is really starting to kick that shear's @ss
4) the dry spot that seemed to be affected the convection is now basically w/i the eye and is darkening
The next recon will most likely report concentric eyewalls, with the inner one open on the south side. I'm anxious to see what flight level winds are now. A wobble to the northwest is also somewhat apparent in radar imagery so she may be on the move again.
