upwelling?

Storm is intensifying alittle bit but for how long? It is going nowhere. Take a day or so should be cooling the water alittle. What do you all think.? Good luck.

Takes a lot to cool the Gulf stream.

yeah, isn't that water being replaced from the south with new warm water? Thus the 'stream' part of 'gulf stream'? :?:

You're right THead. Still, I don't think Frances will get much stronger.

Yeah...the Gulf Stream is bringing approximately 30,000,000 cubic meters of warm water under Frances PER SECOND....I don't see upwelling as an issue - so long as she's over the Gulf Stream.
