that "eye" still has plenty of time in the sultry floridian gulf stream... I could see further lowering of the pressure until landfall.....

See there is alot more convection on the Eastern side of this storm. Which is forcing the system to stay just off shore. While every time that little spin/eye gets close to land it tightens up more and more. This is the central center not the full scale eye its self. Over time it will make the full scale of the eye tighten up. You better hope that it gets forced inland over the next 6 hours. Because with every passing moment the eye wall is getting more oreganized.

Frances is indeed a Hurricane diva. She's been to hell and back in terms of her organization.

Just pray she doesn't keep the pressure falling....

She's just an unreal storm in terms of trends and predictibilty as I know I've been wrong with her several times now.

Congrats to the mets that keep tackling trying to predict what she'll do!!!

It was wrong. From the 8:20 PM correction to the advisory:

THE 951 MB CENTRAL PRESSURE REPORTED IN THE 8 PM EDT INTERMEDIATE
PUBLIC ADVISORY IS CORRECTED TO 957 MB. A STILL LATER HURRICANE
HUNTER REPORT INDICATES THAT THE SURFACE PRESSURE IS 960 MB.
