Typhoon Songda, which is a large slow moving storm like Frances, with sustained winds of 125kt is approaching Okinawa. The storm is expected to move across Okinawa around 05/1300Z. Already Naha has reported wind gusts to 81mph and Okinoerabushima north of Oki has reported gusts to 79mph.
