Maybe we can have a sticky thread where we can post Tornado Warnings too. I'm sure those on the west coast of FL as well as those who have family wouldn't mind being alerted to this. I hope those in the Tampa area aren't letting their guard down as it looks like a nasty squall line is heading your way.

THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN RUSKIN HAS ISSUED A

* TORNADO WARNING FOR...
NORTHWESTERN HILLSBOROUGH COUNTY IN FLORIDA.
EASTERN PASCO COUNTY IN FLORIDA.

* UNTIL 100 AM EDT

* AT 1231 AM EDT...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED A
TORNADO OVER DADE CITY...MOVING SOUTHWEST AT 55 MPH.

* THE TORNADO WILL AFFECT...
DADE CITY NORTH BY 1235 AM EDT.
SAN ANTONIO BY 1235 AM EDT.
WESLEY CHAPEL BY 1245 AM EDT.
LAND O' LAKES BY 1250 AM EDT.
LUTZ BY 1255 AM EDT.
CARROLLWOOD BY 100 AM EDT.

TORNADOES ARE ESPECIALLY DANGEROUS AT NIGHT. TAKE COVER NOW! MOVE TO
A SMALL INTERIOR ROOM ON THE LOWEST FLOOR OF A STURDY BUILDING.
ABANDON MOBILE HOMES. LEAVE VEHICLES AND GET INTO A DITCH OR LOW
SPOT.

REPORT SEVERE WEATHER OR DAMAGE TO THE NEAREST LAW ENFORCEMENT AGENCY
OR YOUR COUNTY EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT. THEY WILL RELAY YOUR REPORT TO
THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE FORECAST OFFICE IN RUSKIN.

the cell that the tornado was supposedly in just passed near my house. real gusty winds and some rain but nothing major. don't know if i was actually under the cell but radar had it pegged within a few miles for sure.
