998 mb and going down!

#1 Postby HURAKAN » Sat Sep 04, 2004 2:58 pm

I live a few blocks from the NHC and the pressure continues to drop here in Miami. The winds are nopt very strong, sustained 28 mph winds was the highest, and 40 - 50 mph gusts. If you have a barometer in your house, and you live in South Florida, please, put your readings here. The pressure now is 997.8 mb and continues to go down.

I live in southern Miami, near North Kendall Drive.

Windspeeds are generally 25-30mph right now. Maximum sustained windspeed around 34mph, which was less than an hour ago. Maximum gust 53mph.

Not much rain at all. Only 0.5"

Pressure right now 999mb.

Unfortunately, that's not the pressure for Jupiter, but for Palm Beach International Airport (PBI) in West Palm beach, about 20(?) miles to the south of Jupiter. Can't find a reading for Jupiter online...
