still have power and phones, but Frances is in SE Polk and moving WNW according to NHC.

I can see stronger winds on doppler just to our east. Wind and gusts have been steadily increasing over the morning. Seems like the direction of winds have shifted from NE to NNW in past hour.

Large white caps on the lake. Some limbs down so far. Shore birds, ducks, squirrels who were out two hours ago have hunkered down and I think I'll move away from this room with large windows on three sides!

Yep. She is. NHC position at 11am was 25 miles northeast of Sebring about 40-50 miles ESE of you.
