Thank You to SouthernWx and bad conditions on Tampa Bay area

#1 Postby Terry » Mon Sep 06, 2004 6:41 am

SouthernWx - Thank you for the head-up yesterday to Tampa Bay residents. I alerted the co-owners of our home on Anna Maria Island (one house off the beach in a very low area) and friends on a canal in St. Pete of impending possible hurricane conditions there.

Live reporter -- from Bay News 9 on Anna Maria
down power lines
shingles off roof
parking lots emersed in water
"things not good here

Live --- Bayshore Blvd
50 mph winds
Abandoned vehicle
Flooding (of course, always does there)

Jeez, Elena has returned
Yikes - pressure down in Frances now
