Boynton Beach Update - Monday
Well... able to post from work in Boca Raton. We lost all utilities... but at least have water. Big tree in back yard fell into some high tension lines... Dam Tababoli (do not know how to spell) trees should be banned from florida. Most of the trees down in the area are these stinking trees. I lost all 3. Good ridence.

Glad to hear you have water.
As for the Tabebuia (i think that's the spelling) up here my neighbor lost 2 that were 20-25ft in Charley, biut I have one that's 15' and is my pride and joy.
I adore the beautiful yellow (in my case) flowers and the purple for others.
Their root structures can be just as sturdy and possibly deeper than most of the "scrub" or "water" oaks that take the 1 foot of turf with them when they go over.
Sorry for your losses, and I hope you can get some normalcy soon.
We did rather well in Osceola county. A lot less wind and rain than expected.
Now, if we can just find some gas...
