Let's see what everyone's opinion is now. I was almost right on target for Frances.

Texas- if only because I'm going to be out of town next weekend and the OperaGhost Hurricane Shield will no longer be operative.

-Truth be told I have absolutly no idea and it's a lot like throwing darts. I'll throw my dart towards Texas for the amusement value of me being gone and there being a hurricane roll in.

Louisiana or Texas, in that order.

P.S. I was pretty good with Frances too - I said Palm Beach +/- 100 miles eight days out.

Isn't it likely that a front will come down and protect the western GOM?

Sorry, just forgot to put Florida west coast in. But, I hope it does not go there, they had enough! All of Florida has.

I hit Frances on the head..... days and days out. I was calling central Flordia on Monday.

Right now.... and my prediction may change.... I have a guy feeling that Ivan will kill Ivan.

It's moving 22 mph and has already lost its Cat. 4 status. I'm going along the lines of.... too much and too quick.

If Ivan slows down, I would change my mind. I'm just not worried about Ivan right now.

Wow, 10 people voted Louisiana. I hope that they did not vote that just because that is where I live. And 4 people voted that Ivan will fizzle like Earl.
