I'm trying to follow the forum and learn what I can since I've come thru Charley, watched Frances, and anticipating Ivan. What do you mean when you refer to a hurricane as a "fish"? Thank you.

If Ivan gets in the Gulf---It's certainly not going to be a fish storm. I'm becoming increasingly concerned about Ivan's path and strength---there is nothing we can do but watch. It would be a nightmare if a powerful storm came to New Orleans--that's all I can say. We know we are overdue here, but, it will truly be a nightmare for this area when the next direct hit occurs.

Correction. Once he gets into the CARIBBEAN he has to hit some sort of landmass.
Carribean or GOM... whicever one. Sorry to miss it.
