....and the wind is starting to change directions. Dead calm.

Once in a life time thing, I hope.

So far, we still have satellite and power.

this thing is moving north and will stay moving north. Theres a front to the west pushing in bringing cooler air....this thing will not move back west

Hey JMG, it made landfall near my house.. it was pretty cool seeing the winds switch directions... no damage whatsoever down here..

Wind is dead calm here in Tallahassee. If anything, it's shifted 180 degrees, now very light "breath" out of the west.

Current pressure is 982.4 MB here at the house.

The storm Center just made a wobble to the NW of Tallehasse. Over the last 3 hrs it has been moving NW to NNW.

Cool. I'm hoping she'll pass within a few miles of here. I've never been in the center of a cyclone before. It always seem to pass west or east. Whether this goes west or east of me, it'll be the closest pass I can remember. I need to get my barometer out. Looks like tomorrow afternoon is the target sometime.
