The NHC is still leaving the possibility open that Ivan could turn more nothward and that there is a "real" chance it could do that...so dont everyone be SOO set on the GOM just yet...

NHC QUOTE:

is left in the vicinity of Florida...Ivan could veer toward the
Bahamas near the end of the forecast period. It is simply too
