HPC(Ivan)-Florida SE Coast

Hpc believes there will be enough of a weakness along the eastern seaboard stretching sw into the Gulf that they have indicated a potential landfall along the SE florida coast.

thanks for the link Vortex...but ACTUALLY...if you look at day 7 (the link was for day 6) it seems as if Ivan is moving north along side the FL coast...not saying it couldnt go into NE or SE Georgia...but it seems to be moving more north than into SE FL by those graphics.....only time will tell:)...again..thanks for the link

And just by those graphics, it would graze the Carolinas before heading out to sea.

I'm worried there will still be alot of debris around when/if Ivan hits. That could make things even more dangerous

Only time will tell, but I don't see that happening. Ivan is coming in way too far south. I mean he is a good 7 degrees further south than Frances was at this longitude and still trucking along. I unfortuantely think this is going to get into the Gulf, and if it does it's not going to be pretty for someone. I just pray it's not a CAT 4 or 5 heading here. New Orleans will be gone.
