Don't worry I'm still here

Just to reassure everyone who was no doubt fretting over the possible absence of me during this, the reign of Ivan IV... while I think my home network is destroyed, I still have computer access at the college. Lost about six trees (3 huge pines, and 3 blackjacks) and our neighbor has an oak tree hanging by his power line.

Ocala got ~50 mph winds and hurricane force gusts. I can honestly say now to rainband and the others: Florida does get 70mph gusts. ;) Flooding wasn't a concern for us, even though we recieved more than a foot of rain. Only helped to uproot some of the huge pinetrees.

Now we've got Ivan in the Caribbean. Can't remember a time when Venezuela was under a tropical watch/warning of any kind. Well if it comes it comes. In Ocala, its the gulf storms i worry about.

Just checkin in,
Kevin-
