Model Trends ... shades of 1938

While I agree it is difficult to turn a cyclone that is defining its own environment, it is clear that the trend in the models is west then northwest, then accelerating straight north. Shades of 1938. It is just a question of who gets in the way. Could see 910mb at this rate.
