Is the eye getting bigger?

What does that mean? In the middle of the loop, the eye is like a pin prick. By the end of the loop, it's open wide. Does that indicate something ominous?

Usually a tighting eye identifies strengthening.

Larger eye allows a higher pressure (air has simple more room to work with)
