When to leave?

#1 Postby dolphinslady » Thu Sep 09, 2004 2:47 pm

Frances was the worst thing I have ever witnessed. And the aftermath has been horrible. I know it could be worse but I never want to experience/witness another one. Definitely the scariest thing ever.

So we're outta here if this Ivan is coming anywhere near us. We are all just in a state of amazement right now, imagining that 3 could hit. Very sad.

So when do we leave? When a 'watch' is issued or a 'warning' or what? When do you think the NHC will have a better idea of the projected path? I don't wanna panic and leave now, but I also know how the traffic was on 75 and 95 with Frances. The only thing that stinks is if we were to leave, we have to go north in a car (have 2 toddlers and a dog)...So...where to go?
