Jamaica

Ivan has phenomenal outflow to the north, but outflow to the south appears to still be hindered somewhat by SA. Before Ivan approaches Jamaica tomorrow, however, his westward movement looks like it will position him where he will be able to generate better outlflow to the south. It will be interesting to see how that contributes to his strengthening. By the way, I plotted out Ivan's track based upon his current heading, and if he stays on this heading it looks to me like he would make landfall on Jamaica just west of Kingston, which would put them in the northeast eye wall. Not so good for Jamaica. :(
