I got a big lesson during Hugo, I was on a boat anchored in Wappoo Cut (just south of the city), and we got WACKED. I can not imagine being in the northern quadrant in that storm..
We had a 15' Boston Whaler (our tender) in the air behind the boat. I guess it was a tornado that had it flying. The next morning the Whaler was underneath the big boat. BTW, it was a 55' Hatteras that I was on..
