I know the NHC forecast track takes it up the appalachians but several of the models seems to recurve it east or even SE late in the forecast period??

FYI - The record for the wettest single season in Richmond (previously 27.57 inches - Summer 1969) was broken by a mere 5.1 inches this Summer:
32.67 inches !!
16.3 inches were in August alone !!!
Gaston helped a lot . . . .
This doesn't include Francis which gave us another 3.4" officially last week. Many of us got more than that however . . . .
