no. We're out of it. Probably wind and rain, but we've had that all year.

A 3 year drought followed by a year of wet weather.

I would say slim and none at this point. We will probably get some of the outter bands but I don't expect anything more than that. Thank God! :-)

3% chance it will come within 65 nautical miles, according to the NHC probabilities report. So yes, there is a chance, but is looks to be small.

Virtually impossible.

Maybe some rain bands, but nothing significant..some decent size waves probably.

The Atlantic High Presure Ridge isn't staying built in too well. A period of time it builds in and for a period of time it moves northeastward.

As of 3:00 pm, it was flat as a pancake at the waters edge.

Where's Josphine insisting on the possibility of a sharp right turn? :-) Over the past several days, it seemed like every fifth post was from her, talking about the forthcoming turn to the east.... :-)

Actually, I do think it's prudent to be wary ... we are in the Tampa area and we still have our windows boarded up. They will remain that way until Ivan is north of us!

Odds of that happening are remote. Ivan would need to make a sudden turn to 48° (northeast) and there is no trough in the vicinity that could radically turn Ivan toward Tampa.
