Jeanne will survive....

If you check out the loop, you can see Jeanne's center just off shore of the northern part of the DR....the last couple frames, shows thunderstorms starting to wrap around the center again....I think we have a Player here. As far as her track....if she hangs around awhile longer down there and strengthens some, this will give Ivan a chance to get out of the picture and the ridge a chance to build back in...I still say a Florida event Tues/Wed of next week...Comments? http://www.ssd.noaa.gov/PS/TROP/DATA/RT ... -loop.html

Ya know.. I think you're right.. It does appear that her center has just re-emerged over the waters.. I also still see it as a Fla event.. see "Jeanne #4" thread

Im surprised for how weak she was she is taking these mountains very well.

defin circulation has moved off shore past the dr and haiti border and will start to get that feeder band coming east to start wrapping around. Also looks like a just n or west mvmt.

There's an LLC trying to form near 20N-72W. I'm not sure if it is a transplanted center trying to escape Hispaniola or the old one emerging.

This storm has been shredded enough to break it down. We'll see if Jeanne beats the odds and reforms off NW Hispaniola over the evening...
