Please double check the website on road conditions before you try getting back into the NW Florida area.

I know everyone is as concerned about their family and property as I am about my family. But it will not do ANY good for people to be trying to get in along roads that are unsafe.
We have to sit tight until the emergeny folks have a chance to get some of these roads open.

Hey all---
Just got back home! I heard on the radio that they have closed I-10 from Highway 59 (that's the exit for Loxley, Robertsdale, Bay Minette, and the road to Gulf Shores) to the Florida State Line. Only emergency vehicles will be allowed on that part of I-10. They are really discouraging evacuees from Pensacola from returning, yet. If you have to get to Pensacola from Baldwin County, AL, you will have to use Highway 90. Highway 98 in the south part of Baldwin County remains closed due to the bridge being out.
