These hurricanes are driving me batty. First of all I have to explain that I am directionally challenged and could get lost in a box. If Jeanne hits south florida and is supposed to go NW, is that across the peninsula toward the GOM or straight up the state and hang a right at Georgia into SC? Can anyone help me figure these directions out? The NWS in Ruskin is saying the following.
BY SAT...HAVE EDGED WINDS TOWARD SCA AS N FLOW INCREASES WITH
JEANNE'S APPROACH FROM THE EAST. SEAS WILL BEGIN TO REBUILD AS
WELL. ALL BETS ARE OFF ON SUNDAY AND PERHAPS MONDAY...AND WILL
DEFAULT TO TROPICAL STORM FORCE CONDITIONS POSSIBLE IN THE TEXT FOR
NOW.

You know, a lot of time, we type "LOL" here when something's funny, but it's not necessarily because we actually laughed out loud.
Gotta admit though, this one made me chuckle. I needed that morning laugh.
