Do You Agree With The Models?

#1 Postby Guest » Fri Sep 24, 2004 4:51 pm

Hello;

Whats the gut feeling of the posters out here.

Do you agree with these models or just by looking at the weather pattern do you believe that the High pressure is stronger than what the models are depicting & a more westward track will occur.

Thanks for your input :D

It may be prudent to add another option like:

"Yes, but I temper my opinion with synoptic forecasts". Or something like that......

Well yes or no is good enough.I like a solid opinion.

I did'nt want to have options like undecided or Ralph Nader on there :)

A good met doesn't rely on forecast models alone, only a fool would do that. A forecasting model is just like any other computer, bad imput = bad output. No, its always best to use the models in conjunction with good old analysis and other tools. Sometimes the models are completely wrong, sometimes they are on target. Most of the time they are somewhere in between. So in my opinion, another option is needed for this poll.
