Apparent WSW move an illusion:

#1 Postby VERMONTsnow » Sat Sep 25, 2004 9:38 am

Jeanne appears to have made a WSW wobble, however it has actually not changed course (which is due W): The eye has become centered, which represents a shift from the NE quadrant of the storm. This "re-centering" of the eye results in the illusion of a WSW wobble (i.e., in becoming centered, the eye moves from NE to SW)

I don't think it was an illusion, but as soon as it came out of it, it appeared that whatever south jog it made, it made up for with an equal or greater north jog.
