Nearly Stationary?

#1 Postby bigpoppy » Sat Sep 25, 2004 12:27 pm

Can anyone confirm wundergrounds 1pm update of Jeanne being nearly stationary. I haven't heard this before. Could it have been a typo. If not, what does that do to the track.

Definitely a typo. She is moving briskly to the W at 14 mph.

Good catch--Wunderground must have made an error. Their maps are based on NHC advisories and the 1 p.m. advisory clearly states that movement is N of W at 14 mph.
