I say conditions are just to rough out there for something to develop over the next few days.

Ditto.... Per NHC too much westerly wind shear and conditions unfavorable for tropical development in that area right now.

However look towards the south. Although tropical development not
likely in that area either (at this moment)... Colombia is sure getting some heavy rain. Looks like mudslide weather for them.
