National Geographic Special...Hurricane Summer 2004
Just got this from a friend of mine who works at NOAA...in case you can get the National Geographic Channel on cable....
"Hurricane Summer"
With NOAA's work featured, "Hurricane Summer" will air on
the National Geographic Channel tomorrow (Oct 5), 9 p.m., in all time zones.
Viewers will travel from the eye of Charley, Frances, Ivan and Jeanne to
personal stories on the ground. NOAA hurricane expert Chris Landsea, who
flew into all four hurricanes, will trace his firsthand experience in
measuring the storms' destructive power in the hope that his work will
lead to more effective prediction of the path of hurricanes.

My Directv online guide says tomorrow night, my tv on-screen guide says tomorrow but the promos for it on tv are saying tonight (Monday night) and have been for several days. Mentioned this in another thread. Might want to surf to the NGC tonight to make sure, if you have the channel. Confusing to say the least when their tv commercials say one night and the the guides say another.
Edited for: Promos on tv NOW saying Tues night. Oh well, the Taboo programs are pretty interesting. Nice to know the promos now have the correct airing date. I'm soooooo easily confused. Or maybe it was just a CNN thing, as that was what I was watching when I saw the prior promos.
