Not real suprised ... the SFC low that I did expect to develop formed much FASTER than I expected ... 24-36 hour window as of RIGHT NOW before the system is impacted by very strong W shear at the 500mb and higher ...

current trajectory would take the system towards the north toward the TX/LA coast ...

Sounds like interesting times ahead. if anything happens, heavy rains is a definite threat for the northwest gulf coast.

Going by the steering currents map, then the system should go to Mexico, not move north. Me thinks that map is wrong...
