Yes the LLCC is definitely exposed there. IMHO, there has been no doubt about a LLCC being there in that same general area since yesterday. The current "controversy" seems to be its' direction of movement.

Between the SW flow from the West, and the E/SE flow from the East, it's looks like this may be "funneled" into southeast LA/MS.

Oh yeah you nailed it right on. Its so hard to see where its moving. Dont shoot me if Im wrong but it appears to me to drift ever so slightly to the East.
