This is the general tropical discussion area. Anyone can take their shot at predicting a storms path.

cycloneye: I've learned some things about weather in PR!

I've got the San Juan weather forecast office page saved and I check on it regularly. Looks like another wet, unstable pattern getting ready to move in! My friend that was there from November 11-15 said they even closed the beach because of the dangerous surf.

My wife looked over my shoulder the other day while I was reading the Hazardous Weather Outlook and she flipped out when she saw where it said "...large breaking waves of 10-18 feet..."

Man I hope we have a nice pattern in place while we are there (December 2-6). She is expecting sun and a nice, blue ocean. Is the windy, showery weather the norm this time of year, or do we have a decent shot at pretty nice weather? How frequent and long are these stormy patterns?

Gracias por la informacion!!

Normally by the time 2-6 of december good weather is here but sometimes a front may come down and damp your wish for sunny weather. But I hope that this year no fronts come down and not permit the sun to shine.Have a great time here in the beautiful beaches and elsewhere here. 8-) :sun:
