Will the Atlantic see a preseason named system?

#1 Postby MGC » Fri Apr 15, 2005 6:38 pm

We have a contender, the Hatteras low that is drifting ESE. I don't think it will be named, but then I've been wrong just a few times in the past. What do you think of the possibility of an April or May system?......MGC

waters are too cool in this area and the upper level winds are not favorable for development...if we see anything "preseason" we'll have to look into the Gulf of Mexico and Caribbean. That's about it.
