looks like dry rest of May for FL
It looks like a dry stable pattern for FL during the next week and possibly beyond. Not saying its like last year, but nevertheless dry for 2/3 of Florida.

just some archival musings.....assuming the absence of any further measurable may rainfall in the three county area of seafla, miami/dade would close the month at 3.96 in vs a normal of 3.75(+.21 in), broward,on the other hand, would close at .92 in vs a norm of 4.09(-3.19 in), palm beach closes at 2.37 in vs a norm of 3.19(-.82 in). the aggregate differential over the three county area would be a net deficit of 3.80 in for the month.....any significance is certainly a matter of debate.........rich

This is good news for N Fla as many rivers are still near flood stage. I think this spring has showed us that its definitely not gonna be a season like last year but this much rain and storminess in the late spring is unusual so maybe that means an unusual hurricane season upcoming in some way.
