Questions

#1 Postby Cookiely » Fri May 13, 2005 1:46 am

Has their been any study done on the probable landfalls of hurricanes in cities vs rural areas? What I'm trying to ask concerns the climatology of a city such as the Tampa Bay Area or Miami which I assume is "hotter" than the surrounding rural areas. I'm having a hard time trying to word this right but I hope you get my meaning. Would this have any bearing on the path of a hurricane?
